Raw and treated water quality update from Glan Agua

The treated water quality leaving the plant continues to be of a very high quality. The chlorine demand is quite low at the minute and both treated turbidity and treated colour remain well below the permissible limits. The UV intensity is in excess of 50 w/m2 and this is comfortably above the alarm limit

Glan Agua update on raw water condition

18th September 2021: Glan Agua informed the Kiltiernan Group Water Scheme, on Saturday the18th September that the quality of the raw water has deteriorated again. It had improved during the previous week. Since early June there has been a deterioration of the raw water entering the treatment plant .As a consequence of this, process adjustments

Covid 19

Covid-19 has almost completely disappeared from the media however we need to be aware that it is not gone. Life has reverted back to the pre-Covid days for the most part but there are still some observances we need to follow. I ask you be respectful when dealing with the scheme workers / sub contractors when conducting face to face meetings as we need to be mindful of their health and safety. Please maintain a minimum of 2 meters distance at all times and when a more prolonged conversation is required, please contact us by phone or email.
